Sorry to everyone who's been checking this site for the past couple of months. I've been really busy on other projects, and haven't had much time to work on this. Even so, it seems there are plenty of visitors, so I will be spending some time soon adding new content, and fixing up some of the layout.
Check back soon for new guitarists soon!
YouTube phenomena - Sun, 2007-05-06 16:49
Anyone who has looked at YouTube, and looked for guitar playing will most likely have come across a guy who calls himself "Funtwo". Apparently he doesn't rate his own playing, but this is just brilliant:
Buckethead - Thu, 2007-04-19 19:35
I've been checking out what the guitarists have been up to, and have added some new releases. If anyone sees anything I've missed then let me know and I'll update it. One of the things I found was that - back in the summer of 2006 - Bumblefoot (aka Ron Thal) replaced Buckethead (aka Brian Caroll) as Guns and Roses' lead guitarist. I don't particularly rate G'n'R since Slash left, but these guitarists rock!
Check out a sampler of Buckethead here (Warning: this video contains disturbing images):
Bells and whistles - Mon, 2007-04-02 09:40
Well, I'm starting to get many of the teething problems with the new look site sorted out, and soon will be adding to the content.
There is a new section that I will add shortly - probably next week - so be sure to check back for that! I am currently in the process of adding a new guitarist, and again, details will follow later this week. More information will gradually be added throughout the site too.
Thanks for visiting fusionsite.co.uk, and I hope you enjoy your stay!
Overhaul - Mon, 2007-03-26 09:34
It's been ages since I've overhauled the site, and probably not to this extent since near the beginning. The site is now almost all database driven, and I'll be refining some of the layout slightly, as well as adding lots more content over the next few weeks...
There has been quite a lot of demand for new guitarists, so I'll be adding a few very soon. I'm also considering various options about how to help other guitarists get the most from this site, and welcome any suggestions at this time. Now is especially a good time, because it will be easier for me to make steps to implement it.
Some of you may also notice that there are some sections that have been removed, or cut-down. It was necessary to streamline the focus of this site, and pay full respect those who mean the most to fusionsite.co.uk: those guitarists featured on this site! I also hope to add guitar tuition sections, and other guitar-related stuff.
